Tensions and conflicts between colleagues can greatly affect the work environment and have a significant impact on the emotional health of employees.  That is why it is important to identify and defuse at-risk situations before they escalate. In fact, unresolved work conflicts are a significant risk factor in the development of harassment situations.

Training in the management and prevention of work conflicts is one of Relais Expert-Conseil's developed fields of expertise.  Our training will enable participants to identify:

  • elements that may contribute to the development of conflicts in the workplace;
  • the uneasiness and discomforts that are often precursors to new conflicts;
  • the dynamics of an escalating conflict;
  • strategies to defuse at-risk and conflictual situations;
  • respectful attitudes and expected behaviours in the workplace.
This training is offered both in group sessions as well as on an individual basis (coaching).

We favour the use of simulations, role plays and video clips to help participants (employees, supervisors, managers, human resources team members, etc.) to put into practice their newly acquired skills and concepts in an interactive and lively manner.

Team building


A united and cohesive team is at the core of what is perceived by employees as being a healthy and pleasant working environment. However, in a workplace where pressure to perform is often deeply ingrained, maintaining a positive atmosphere within a team can be a major challenge for supervisors and management.
Furthermore, a team is generally composed of individuals with different personalities and is not immune to tension, discomfort and rivalries.
Once needs have been identified, the team-building sessions provided by Relais Expert-Conseil can introduce tools that will help managers:
  • Identify factors contributing to a positive team atmosphere;
  • Identify the various stages leading to team cohesiveness;
  • Highlight the different roles taken on by various team members;
  • Identify different forces involved within a team;
  • Understand the decision making mechanisms within a team;

  • Mobilize and drive a team by targeting common goals and objectives;
